The rain pitter patters on the windshield and the hood of the car. Cars zoom by even though the road is slick and unforgiving.
The skies grey.
The trees naked because Mother Nature has yet to adorn the world with her Spring/Summer collection of green leaves and grass.
Behind me the majestic Yankee Stadium beckons dreams, hopes and aspirations.
The park as well, a sparse population of people due to the weather.
Young and old escape the rain.
We bask in it.
Though the rain has drenched our sweatshirts, we pull our hoods over our eyes and keep swinging, hitting, catching, throwing, running, jumping, playing.
"Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains."

No matter what the weather is like, keep pulling through. The best only comes for those who go out and get it.
