If you had the chance to travel back in time and give advice to your younger self, what would you say?

Unfortunately this campaign isn't launching a super rad time traveling machine but to me, it's close enough. To me, it's also a time capsule that will allow us, when we're old and gray, to reminisce on the days when we were stressed such miniscule things.

The #DearMe Campaign started on one of the most influential platforms, YouTube, and has of course, gone viral, already the #1 topic across other social media platforms. Now, without further ado, here is what I would say, to younger me:

"Find a balance with your life. Yes it's important to plan for a good future but live in the moment. Don't forget those who love your presence and appreciate you for who you are. Don't take others words personally. Their opinions don't matter. In the words of Dr. Seuss, 'Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.' Life is short; enjoy it. School is important yes, but you're young- have fun! Be nice. Be courageous. You're not one to follow the crowd but apply that not just when the rest of your friends are cutting school. SPEAK UP. Let your voice be heard. Let your ideas be heard, because you know you have great ones. Don't be afraid to be wrong; it's a lesson learned. Don't let others intimidate you; they're only human, no matter what they have done. We're only human. You're only human. Don't let your imperfections hinder you from being yourself. Show love. Love. Life is a roller coaster, with crazy twists, very high highs, and steep lows. But trust me, it's all worth it."
