Met Gala 2017 (pt. 2)
Rihanna was deemed queen of the Met Gala 2017 (although some called her loofah). Honoring Comme des Garçons, Rei Kawakubo, the Gala was (per usual) a sight to be seen. Although I loved Lily Aldridge's daring look (she reminded me of the girls in the video game Street Fighter: sexy yet lethal), Rihanna just got it. She wore Comme des Garçon which I felt was highly appropriate. I actually can't understand why everyone else didn't wear it but to each their own. Rei Kawakubo is one of very few living designers that are honored with an exhibit at the Costume Institute. (YSL was the other, back in the 1980s).
